Located deep in the Peruvian jungle near Iquitos, Aya Madre is an authentic Shipibo healing center run by Maestra Estela Pangoza, a world-renowned shaman with decades of experience. The center offers:
Sleep in hand-built wooden huts (tambos), each equipped with a bed and desk. Electricity and Skylink Wi-Fi are available in communal areas.
Experience powerful ayahuasca ceremonies in hand-crafted malocas.
Swim in a pristine jungle river, hike serene trails, and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the jungle.

Maestra Estela intuitively determines the right dosage for each participant, ensuring a uniquely personal experience.

In 2024, I embarked on a #40for40 bucket list journey, traveling to 40 destinations around the world to celebrate turning 40. Doing ayahuasca in the jungles of Peru was a nonnegotiable part of that journey. My experience at Aya Madre was beautiful, helping me heal from the past and gain profound insights. Now, I feel called to guide others through this powerful experience.
Leading my first retreat there was a full-circle moment. Watching others move through their own transformations—seeing the tears, breakthroughs, and quiet peace that followed—confirmed just how powerful this work truly is. This experience isn’t just about ayahuasca; it’s about stepping into deeper trust, connection, and self-love.
