The first time I saw photos of Plitvice Lakes National Park – gorgeous turquoise lakes and waterfalls tucked away in fairytale-esque forests – Croatia jumped to the top of my European travel bucket list.
One of my favorite childhood movies growing up was “The Chipmunk Adventure” where Alvin, Simon and Theodore race the Chipettes around the world in hot air balloons.
I’ve lived in Southern California for over 15 years and often forget it’s one of the best bucket list travel destinations in the world! Right in my own backyard is Marina del Rey!
