ABOUT THIS ADVENTURE
For a long time I had this idea that Europe lacked the outdoor adventures I could get in other parts of the world. I was WRONG! I traveled to Interlaken Switzerland which is known as the “adventure capital of Europe.” During my visit, the company Alpin Raft sponsored my activities and this is an in-depth look at bungee jumping Interlaken. BUNGEE JUMPING INTERLAKEN
The first time I went bungee jumping was 12 years ago in Queenstown New Zealand so I was ready for another shot at it! Round 2 with Alpin Raft led me to Stockorn, Erlenbach im Simmetntal in the Bernese Alps. No doubt, this is one of the most gorgeous spots to jump out of a gondola!
Upon arrival, our (slightly nervous) group rode a cable car up through the picturesque Alps to the top. The Alpin Raft staff then fitted us for our individual gear and of course I decided to go shirtless for bungee jumping Interlaken #the6backPACKer.

After we looked ready for 50 Shades of Grey: Swiss Alps we hobbled our way in harnesses to the gondola. Next was a short ride taking us 134m above the center of the lake. And then one by one we began jumping!
During the jumping and waiting process Alpin Raft thankfully pumps loud music to keep the energy high. When it was my turn, my body was overtaken by a mix of adrenaline and fear.
Hands down bungee jumping Interlaken with Alpin Raft is one of my most exhilarating and beautiful adventures. What I love most about bungee jumping is right before taking the plunge you’re consumed by the fear of death. Seconds later you’re overtaken by the rush of LIFE!
